  • The UGC (University Grants Commission) was inaugurated on December 28,1953 by Shri Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Minister of Education in the Government of India. The UGC is a statutory body of the Indian government that looks after the coordination and maintenance of the standard of higher education in the country. The head office of the University Grants Commission is located in New Delhi. UGC also has regional centres at Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Pune, Bangalore and Bhopal.

Through this site, the entire student community will aim to provide answers to complicated questions related to the University Grants Commission (UGC).
